Frequently Asked Questions

What is Paintball?

Paintball is a sport where teams try to eliminate each other while completing certain objectives.  Opposing teams will compete using paintball markers that are powered by compressed air or CO/2.  The markers propel a safe, non-toxic, washable gelatin capsule filled with water-based colored paint.

Opponents are eliminated when they are marked by the paintballs. A team is victorious when they have successfully marked and eliminated all opposing players or completed the main objective of the game (Capture the flag, King of the Hill, Zombie, etc.)

Who can play paintball?

Anyone can play paintball! Paintball appeals to both, male & female, people of all ages and sizes. However, we recommend the minimum age for a player is 10 years of age. Anyone under the age of eighteen must also have their legal guardian sign and date a RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM ON SITE IN FRONT OF STAFF WITNESSES.

Does it hurt when you get hit?

There can be a bit of a stinging, similar to being snapped with a rubber band, or towel. However, most fields do out their best to limit close range encounters and insure a referee is on field at all times upholding the safety rules.

What Equipment do I need?

The first thing of course is deciding what style of paintball you will be playing. There are Speedball and or Recreational/Scenario styles of play. Each has its own distinct features, and requires a different set-up of equipment.
